Consensus Reality and You.
Consensus reality is what any given society - local to global
- consider reasonable, acceptable; i.e. this is the way things
are. Due to the nature of life and living we ALL stuggle with
this constraint in some way or another. For example, some people
complimentary therapies are alternative practises that are dangerous
and irresponsible. This can have an ostracising effect on some.
The growth of these therapies however highlights a (paradigm)
shift in society. Consensus reality moves ... new 'realities'
become accepted. This is usually a slow long term process. Recognising
and accepting where you and your society are in relation to eachother
is a essential step in maintaining healthy mental process's.
Evolutionary Consciousness
Evolutionary consciousness is the concept that (human) consciousness
is evolving. Where it is evolving from and to is a matter of great
debate and opinion. Some grasp of where you stand in this picture
is fundamental to mental health. No amount of positive thinking
will assist if you are going with the grain of a lost cause -
pick you battles wisely!
So you are here to evolve, discordance with the organic nature
of your evolutionary path in the context of the global evoltionary
path will cause trouble. If you are trying to play an old school
game in a team dedicated to latest methods you are in trouble.
You first must find you place on the team. If you believe you
should be on the first team but your latent talent is against
you, you need to accept something - wrong team go to a lesser
team, or accept a lesser role.
These matters occupy many people and cause great stress. The
modern world is for a large part moving OUT OF physical work and
INTO mental/emotional work because we have EVOLVED beyond the
limitations of physicals need. Most of us have our basic physical
needs met, so we have evolved into higher arenas.
Mental Stress
Have you ever thought 'I am the best chef/actor/commodity trader/whatever
in the world'? Has it worked out for you? Sometimes be can follow
talents only to find out they are dead ends. It takes 99 talented
chefs to fail 'making it big' for 1 equally talented chef to 'make
it'. Same with every skill, talent or gifted individual. Often
the ones who make it do due to outside forces. Trying (too) hard
if a surce of mental stress for many, inability to accept the
present condition is common; even if you believe you 'should'
be somewhere else - the top? Same goes for relationships, family,
friends, health matters, body image and acceptance.
Without realising what it is you are here for, you will always
be prey to thoughts of what if, maybe and could be.
Stepping outside of doubt and into strength inherently involves
challenging the yourself and the world ... you ready for this?
